I love stories. Staring at the photo of my grandmother standing under a Saguaro cactus while listening to her desert travel stories, planted the seed to tell stories about the landscape with my photography. College, a reality questioning major and time working in a natural history museum made me aware there were parts of the landscape that go unnoticed and their importance under recognized. They are details at the edges of our attention. Each of my projects explores a different angle on the same question: how do we process our relationship to the natural world and what are the consequences of the dissonance between the real and the imagined.
